Crawley Town have added two new faces to their League Two ranks, signing winger Malcom Ebiowei and defensive midfielder Klaudio Krasniqi. The deals come as the club eyes a fresh start after finishing 22nd in League Two last season with just 40 points from 46 games.
Who are the new signings?
Malcom Ebiowei arrives at Crawley Town at 22 years old. The winger made his senior bow at Derby County under Wayne Rooney in 2021-22, later joining Crystal Palace but never made a competitive appearance for the Eagles. He spent a brief spell at Blackpool at the start of last season before his move to the Red Devils.
Klaudio Krasniqi, 25, completes a trial spell that included two behind-closed-doors friendlies. His career path includes Bromley’s academy, spells in non-league with Erith & Belvedere, Phoenix Sports and FC Kent United. He then moved to Gibraltar, featuring for Bruno’s Magpies in the Conference League qualifiers before a short stay at Glacis United.
What did the boss say?
Colin Kazim-Richards, Crawley’s head coach, called Ebiowei “a talent that everybody knows” and praised his ability to shine at higher levels. “When he is in form, he is outstanding,” Kazim-Richards told the club website. “I am absolutely buzzing to get this deal over the line.”
What’s next for Crawley Town?
Ebiowei brings Championship pedigree and pace to a Crawley side that scored just 44 goals last season. Krasniqi offers defensive cover after the club conceded 68 times, the second-worst tally in League Two. Their arrival comes as Crawley sit 47 points behind Bromley in the title race, with the new campaign yet to kick off.
The club’s recent form offers a sliver of hope: unbeaten in their last five games, Crawley drew 0-0 at Salford City on May 2, 2026.
Crawley Town now sit 22nd in League Two, 40 points from 46 games last season, with a goal difference of -24. Their recent run of five games without a win shows the work still needed to climb the table.
