Crawley Town face a tough away trip to sixth-placed Grimsby Town this Saturday in Sky Bet League Two. The fixture at Blundell Park has already seen more than 7,300 tickets sold, the home club has confirmed.

Manager David Artell welcomed supporters back in a statement ahead of the game. "Welcome back to Blundell Park as we prepare to welcome Crawley Town for another Sky Bet League Two fixture at the home of the Mariners," he said.

The match kicks off at 3pm, with turnstiles opening at 1:30pm. The home club has stated that its Fan Zone will not be operational before the game. Bars inside the stadium will open from 1:30pm, while the Lower Bar opens earlier at 12pm. Food vendors will be positioned around the ground, and the Ticket Office will remain open until kick-off for any last-minute sales.

Crawley Town travel north sitting 23rd in the League Two table, having taken just four points from their opening six matches. Their recent form shows one win, one draw, and three defeats from the last five games, including consecutive losses to Cheltenham and Accrington Stanley.

Matchday activities and access

A range of activities is planned around the fixture. Club legend Dave Worthington, who made 293 league appearances for Grimsby and later worked as a Premier League scout, will host an exclusive Q&A in the McMenemy’s hospitality area. From 2pm, the mascot Mighty Mariner will be available for photos with supporters.

At half-time, five supporters aged 14 or over will get the chance to take part in the Half Way Line Challenge. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with registration required at the PA Box before kick-off.

The club is also supporting the Stroke Association with an awareness campaign. Donation points and an information stand will be located around the ground, including in the Pontoon and Lower Corner area. A banner will be displayed in the Technical Absorbents Stand, and charity details will feature on internal TV screens and in the matchday programme. Supporters can also donate via a QR code printed in the programme.

Travel and parking information

Blundell Park is located at Cleethorpes, DN35 7PY. The club advises that parking near the stadium is extremely limited and encourages fans to arrive early and use street parking. For those driving, the route follows the M180 and then the A180, with the stadium adjacent to a McDonald’s Drive-Thru on Grimsby Road. Coach drivers should turn onto Tiverton Street from Grimsby Road and park along Harrington Street.

The nearest train station is Cleethorpes, approximately a 20-minute walk from the ground. Stagecoach bus services, including matchday route 3, stop directly outside the stadium. Home supporters with tickets for the Osmond Stand are directed to enter via turnstiles nine and ten.

Crawley Town will be looking to end a run of two straight defeats and improve their league position, starting with this visit to a Grimsby side sitting comfortably in the playoff places. The full squad list is available for fans to see who is available for selection.
